Ski School

The Sugar Bear Ski School is designed to teach skiing to children ages 5-10. The Polar Bear Snowboard School is designed to teach snowboarding to children ages 7-14. All programs include lift/slope ticket, rental equipment, helmet, lessons, lunch (Full Day only), and supervision.

Full Day Program Online Registration Only, up to four days in advance until 6pm the day prior. No Same Day Registration.

Full Day check-in is from 8:30 to 9:30am with the session running daily from 10:00am to 3:00pm.
If you opt to check in the day prior for the Full Day Program, please bring your child with you so they can be fitted with their equipment and helmet.

The Polar Bear Snowboard School and Polar Bear Ski School is located in the Ski/Snowboard School building.

Practical Information

The Sugar Bear program is located in the Ski/Snowboard School Building.
SAVE TIME: If your child is registered for the Sugar Bear program, proceed directly to the Ski/Snowboard School building.

IMPORTANT: Your lift/slope ticket and rental equipment are non-refundable and non-transferable. The Resort does not assume any responsibility for lost lift/slope passes. No replacements. Everyone must have a valid lift/slope ticket and proper equipment at all times to enter any slope system or embark on any lift. No grace period at Sugar Mountain ski area. Management reserves the right to revoke ticket for misconduct.

Our lift equipment requires routine maintenance. Although every precaution is taken; in rare cases, grease may drip from lift equipment. Sugar Mountain Resort is not responsible for grease on clothing or equipment. This is an inherent risk of the sport. The speed of lifts may be reduced due to wind or other factors.
